It was a rainy Saturday in the heart of Abuja when we set out to the Wuye Ultra Mordern Market for a breast and cervical cancer awareness and screening outreach.
The very beautiful and selfless ladies of the Babes redefined group came together to cover the cost of screening market women resident in this market.

The reps walked the streets of the market into different stalls to invite the women to the chapel where the screening excercise took place. Once they arrived, an awareness health talk was delivered by the program Director, Stephanie Nyong.

The only way to prevent breast and cervical cancers is through regular screenings and early treatment of abnormalities.
Reducing the current burden of these diseases in our country and the rest of Africa lies greatly in the power of partnerships which is why we commend the Babes Redefined group for this initiative
A lot more women can be reached this way-sponsoring a community or group.
